The Minnesota Vikings have agreed in principle to a one-year contract extension with quarterback Kirk Cousins, the team announced Sunday.
The deal is reportedly worth $35 million fully-guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The deal will keep Cousins under contract through the 2023 season, and includes voidable years which will lower his cap number to $31.25 million this year, Schefter reports.
The three-time Pro Bowler threw for 4,221 yards and 33 touchdowns in the 2021 season.
