The Pittsburgh Steelers could be without one of their starting receiving threats for the next little while.
Wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. re-injured his foot and now could be out for "weeks," Steelers coach Mike McCarthy told reporters Thursday.
Pittman missed Pittsburgh's Week 2 loss to the Patriots with plantar fasciitis in his left foot, and will now miss Week 5 versus the Indianapolis Colts, the team he spent six seasons with previously before he was traded to Pittsburgh in the off-season.
Through three games with his new team, Pittman has caught seven balls for 89 yards.
