Andreas Athanasiou returns to Kings on one-year, $2.7M contract

Speedy forward Andreas Athanasiou is returning to the Los Angeles Kings on a one-year, $2.7 million contract.

Athanasiou, 26, was on a one-year, $1.2 million contract with the Kings last season.

In 47 games last season Athanasiou had 10 goals and 23 points. He has appeared in 350 career games with the Kings, Oilers and Red Wings, scoring 94 goals and 179 points.
