The Colorado Avalanche are adding some reinforcements to the lineup, with Miles Wood being activated from the injured reserve.
The team also re-assigned Jere Innala to the AHL's Colorado Eagles.
Wood has been out of the lineup since the end of October missing 27 games with an upper-body injury.
He could be back when Colorado takes on the New York Rangers Sunday afternoon.
In 16 games this season, the 29-year-old has two goals and three points.
The Buffalo, NY., native joined the Avalanche in 2023 on a six-year deal. In his first season with Colorado he had nine goals and 26 points in 74 games.
