The Colorado Avalanche announced Friday that they've cancelled their morning skate after a positive COVID-19 test in the organization.

The team says the person is in isolation, after receiving the result from Thursday's testing, and all other staff and players have turned in negative tests.

There were no further details on who in the organization tested positive.

This is the second morning skate the Avalanche have cancelled this week after a positive result forced them to sideline team activities Wednesday.
