The Colorado Avalanche announced Wednesday that they've cancelled their morning skate after receiving a positive test result for COVID-19 yesterday.

The Avalanche did not provide further information on who in the organization tested positive. Goaltender Philipp Grubauer was added to the NHL's COVID Protocol list on Wednesday evening.

The team is currently in St. Louis ahead of a Wednesday night game against the Blues, after facing the Arizona Coyotes at home Monday.

Per the Avalanche, all other test results came back negative, and the person who tested positive is currently in isolation.

Avalanche defender Bowen Byram was listed on the NHL's COVID Protocol list as of Tuesday.
