T.J. Tynan is staying with the Colorado Avalanche.
The forward, 33, has signed a one-year deal with the Avalanche, the team announced Tuesday.
Tynan had one assist in nine games in the Avalanche last season. He also played 52 games with Colorado's AHL affiliate.
Tynan has played 30 career NHL games, notching two assists.
