Matthew DiMarsico is headed to Denver.
The Colorado Avalanche signed the Penn State forward to a two-year entry-level deal, the team announced on Monday.
DiMarsico, 22, registered 18 goals and 24 assists in 37 games for the Nittany Lions this season, ranking second on the team in points behind Gavin McKenna.
The Wexford, Penn., native finishes his college career with an even 100 points (42 goals, 58 assists) over 111 games.
He was named to the Big Ten Honorable Mention All-Star Team and will join the AHL's Colorado Eagles for the rest of the season.
