Sam Malinski is sticking in Colorado for another season.
The Avalanche signed the defenceman to a one-year contract, the team announced on Monday.
According to PuckPedia, the deal is worth $1.4 million.
Malinski, 26, appeared in 76 games with the Avalanche last season and recorded five goals and 10 assists.
Colorado signed the Lakeville, Minn., native as a college free agent in March 2023 after his four seasons with Cornell University.
