The Colorado Avalanche have signed forward Miikka Salomaki to a one-year deal, the team announced Friday.
The 27-year-old spent most of the 2019-20 campaign with the AHL’s Milwaukee Admirals, recording 15 points (five goals, 10 assists) in 41 games while appearing in five contests for the Nashville Predators.
Salomaki was eventually dealt to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Feb. 22, and he skated in eight games for the club’s AHL affiliate, the Toronto Marlies, posting four points (two goals, two assists).
