Avalanche's Gabriel Landeskog to miss Game 7 vs. Stars

Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog limps off for the locker room after getting clipped by the skate of teammate Cale Makar in the second period of Game 6 against the Dallas Stars.

Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog is expected to miss the team's Game 7 tilt against the Dallas Stars on Friday, per Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.

Landeskog was hurt late in the second period of Avalanche's 4-1 win on Wednesday in their second-round series after taking a skate to his right leg. The 27-year-old briefly returned in the third period, finishing with three shots in 14:09 of ice time.

Landeskog has 13 points across 14 post-season games for the Avalanche.

In addition to the power forward, the Avalanche are also without the services of Matt Calvert, Joonas Donskoi, Pavel Francouz, Philipp Grubauer, Erik Johnson and Conor Timmins.
