The Chicago Blackhawks have signed Russian forward Roman Kantserov to an entry-level deal.
Announced on Thursday, Kantserov's deal is for three years and carries a cap hit of $1.075 million.
The 21-year-old was originally a second-round pick of Chicago's (No. 44 overall) in the 2023 NHL Draft.
Since getting drafted by the Blackhawks, Kantserov has spent the last three seasons with the KHL's Magnitogorsk Metallurg.
Last season, he led the KHL with 36 goals, becoming the first 21-year-old to lead the KHL in goals since Kirill Kaprizov did it in 2018-19.
He also added 28 assists for 64 points in 63 games played.
