The Chicago Blackhawks have agreed to terms with forward Lucas Wallmark on a one-year, $950,000 contract, the team announced Monday.

The 25-year-old put up 25 points, including a career-high 12 goals, in 67 games during the 2019-20 season.

He was traded to the Florida Panthers at the trade deadline as part of the deal that sent Vincent Trocheck to the Carolina Hurricanes. He appeared in two post-season games for the Panthers as they were ousted in the Qualifying Round by the New York Islanders.

The fourth-round pick (97th overall) by the Hurricanes in the 2014 NHL Draft has racked up 56 career points in 167 NHL contests. Wallmark scored a career-best 28 points with Carolina during the 2018-19 season.
