The Chicago Blackhawks have locked down one of their goaltending prospects.
Adam Gajan has signed a two-year, entry-level deal, the club announced Wednesday.
It is set to begin in the 2026-27 season and carries a cap hit of $1.05 million.
Gajan, 21, recorded career highs during the 2025-26 season in games played (33), wins (19), save percentage (.908), goals-against average (2.25) and shutouts (2) with the University of Minnesota Duluth.
He was drafted by the Blackhawks as the 35th overall pick in 2023.
From Poprad, Slovakia, Gajan represented his country at Milano Cortina 2026, marking his first appearance in the Olympics, though he did not see any game action.
