The Chicago Blackhawks and Arvid Söderblom have avoided arbitration.
The team announced Saturday that the goaltender signed a two-year contract with an average annual value of $2.75 million.
Söderblom, 25, appeared in a career-high 36 games last season, posting a 10-18-7 record along with a career-best 3.18 goals-against average and .898 save percentage.
The undrafted Swede has a 3.55 goals-against average and .889 save percentage over 86 career NHL games, all with the Blackhawks.
Söderblom's salary arbitration hearing had been scheduled for July 28.
