Blackhawks sign Jujhar Khaira to two-year, $1.95M deal

The Chicago Blackhawks have signed former Edmonton Oilers center Jujhar Khaira to a two-year, $1.95 million deal with a cap hit of $975,000.

Khaira had 11 points in 40 games with the Oilers last season, netting three goals and adding eight assists during the regular season. In the Oilers' four playoff games, he also added one goal for one point.

The 26-year-old was drafted by Edmonton with the second pick of the third round (63rd overall) in the 2012 NHL Draft. He played all six seasons of his NHL career so far with the Oilers.
