Blackhawks' Tyler Johnson suffers upper-body injury against Hurricanes

Chicago Blackhawks centre Tyler Johnson suffered an upper-body injury against the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday night.

Johnson was hurt after being cross-checked by Vincent Trocheck in the second period. He immediately got up in pain, left the ice and did not return.

The five-foot-eight Johnson has one goal and two assists in eight games this season.

Johnson has 162 goals and 202 assists in 597 career games with the Tampa Bay Lightning and Blackhawks.
