Daemon Hunt is sticking around Ohio.
The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed the defenceman to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced Friday.
The 23-year-old was acquired from the Minnesota Wild in November of 2024 and collected 14 points (two goals, 12 assists) in 48 games with the Cleveland Monsters.
Hunt was selected 65th overall in the 2020 draft by the Wild and has tallied 59 points in 173 career AHL contests.
He has appeared in 13 NHL games, picking up one assist.
