Dysin Mayo has a new home.
The Columbus Blue Jackets signed the 28-year-old defenceman to a one-year, two-way contract on Wednesday, the team announced.
Mayo played the last three seasons with the Henderson Silver Knights — the Vegas Golden Knights' AHL affiliate. He recorded eight goals and 11 assists in 58 games for the Silver Knights last season.
Mayo has played in 82 NHL games in his career, all with the Arizona Coyotes, who are now the Utah Mammoth. In his best NHL season in 2022-23, Mayo had four goals and eight assists in 67 games with the Coyotes.
