The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed restricted free agent defenceman Gabriel Carlsson to a two-year contract.
The first-year of the contract is two-way and the second year is one-way. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The 23-year-old has three assists in 23 career NHL games and appeared in six games with the Blue Jackets last season.
He also appeared in 41 games with the AHL’s Cleveland Monsters in 2019-20, scoring 12 points and leading the team with a plus-13 rating.
