Blue sign AHL scoring leader Sam Anas to two-year, two-way deal

The St. Louis Blues announced Saturday that they've signed forward Sam Anas to a two-year, two-way contract.

Anas, 27, went undrafted and has spent the past four seasons with the Iowa Wild, Minnesota's American Hockey League affiliate. In 2019-20, Anas led the AHL in scoring (70 points) while reaching the 20-goal mark for the second time in his pro career.

The Potomac, Md., native played three seasons at Quinnipiac University and was an alternate captain during his final year.
