Logan Mailloux is re-upping in St. Louis.
The Blues announced on Tuesday that they've agreed to a one-year, $850,000 extension with the young defenceman.
Mailloux, 22, has appeared in 31 games for the Blues this season after being acquired on July 1 from the Montreal Canadiens for Zachary Bolduc.
The 2021 first-rounder has struggled to produce offence at the same rate in the NHL as in the AHL so far in his young career, registering just three goals and four assists in 39 games between the Canadiens and Blues.
In two seasons with the Laval Rocket of the AHL, Mailloux registered 80 points (26 goals and 54 assists) in 135 games.
This year with St. Louis, he's posted a goal and an assist while going minus-22, good for the fifth-worst mark in the league.
