Things are going from bad to worse for the St. Louis Blues.
The Blues suffered a difficult night in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Dallas Stars, as forward Jordan Kyrou left early with an upper-body injury and was ruled out for the remainder of the affair.
Kyrou exited the contest in the third period, with the Blues later confirming that he would be unable to return.
The 27-year-old’s absence was particularly notable amid ongoing trade speculation.
This season, Kyrou has played 42 games for St. Louis, scoring 11 goals and recording 13 assists.
The Blues were dealt another blow when Jake Neighbours also left the game and did not return in the second period.
The 23-year-old left-winger has appeared in 40 games this season, putting up 21 points (12 goals and nine assists).
The team announced that Neighbours is dealing with a lower-body injury.
St. Louis entered the night riding a four-game losing streak while sitting last in the Central Division.
