Blues officially sign Mike Hoffman to one-year, $4M contract

The St. Louis Blues have officially signed Mike Hoffman to a one-year, $4 million contract, locking up one of the top-scoring wingers on the open market.

Hoffman had been at Blues training camp on a professional try-out contract.

Hoffman, 31, joins the Blues from the Panthers where he had 29 goals and 59 points last season. He's scored at least 20 goals in each of the last six seasons and 50 points in each of the last five.
