The St. Louis Blues suffered a setback to their defence corps on Tuesday when Justin Faulk was placed on long-term injured reserve and Scott Perunovich was placed on injured reserve.
Both have been sidelined with lower-body injuries.
Faulk, 31, has missed the past 10 games. The South St. Paul, Minnesota, native has two goals and 17 assists for 19 assists in 40 games this season.
Perunovich, 25, has missed the past seven games. The Hibbing, Minnesota, native has 12 assists in 31 games this season.
Bolduc, 20, has played 48 games for the Springfield Thunderbirds of the AHL this season, recording 23 points (eight goals, 15 assists). A native of Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Bolduc spent the previous four seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, totalling 290 points (145 goals, 145 assists) in 208 regular-season games.
Bolduc was the Blues' first-round pick (17th overall), at the 2021 NHL Draft.
