The St. Louis Blues have placed centre Tyler Bozak in COVID-19 protocol.

Blues president of hockey operations and general manager Doug Armstrong announced the move Tuesday.

Former Toronto Maple Leaf Bozak, 35, has one goal and six assists in 21 games for the Blues this season.

The Blues (11-7-3) host the reigning Stanley Cup-champion Tampa Bay Lightning (12-5-3) in action Tuesday night.

Earlier this season, Torey Krug, Kyle Clifford, captain Ryan O'Reilly, Brandon Saad and goaltender Ville Husso were all at one time in COVID protocol.

Forwards James Neal, Klim Kostin and David Perron are also sidelined for the Blues. The team recalled forward Logan Brown from Springfield of the AHL for Tuesday's game.
