The St. Louis Blues have placed forward Robert Thomas on injured reserve with a lower-body injury, the team announced Thursday.
President of hockey operations and general manager Doug Armstrong said Thomas will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
The 26-year-old has been one of the Blues’ most productive players this season, leading the club with 33 points in 42 games.
The Aurora, Ont., native has spent his entire eight-year NHL career with the Blues. He has recorded 118 goals and 429 points in 508 regular-season games since being selected 20th overall in the 2017 NHL Draft.
