The St. Louis Blues announced Wednesday that rookie defenceman Jake Walman, who has been vaccinated, has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Blues did not reveal whether Walman has received a single shot or is fully vaccinated, nor did they offer any further details about his condition.

Walman will now enter NHL/NHLPA quarantine protocols.

The 25-year-old from Toronto has two points in 24 games with the Blues this season.
