Alexey Toropchenko is sticking around The Lou.
The forward has signed a two-year contract extension worth an annual average value of $2.5 million, the St. Louis Blues announced Monday.
Toropchenko, 26, has played 27 games this season, recording two goals and three assists.
He is currently on a one-year, $1.7-million deal and was set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.
The six-foot-six Russian native has appeared in 286 regular-season games with St. Louis, totalling 65 points (32 goals and 33 assists).
He has also played in 19 post-season games, posting two goals and four assists.
The Blues drafted Toropchenko in the fourth round, 113th overall, of the 2017 NHL Draft.
