Blues sign Calle Rosen to two-year, two-way extension

St. Louis Blues defenceman Calle Rosen has signed a two-year, two-way contract extension, general manager Doug Armstrong announced Wednesday.

The 28-year-old signed with the Blues as a free agent In July 2021, and scored two goals and five assists for the Blues in 18 regular season appearances during the 2021-22 season. Rosen also appeared in nine postseason games with the team.

St. Louis originally waived Rosen on Saturday to join their AHL affiliate Springfield for their playoffs as he has four goals and 24 assists for 28 points in 40 minor-league appearances this year.

The Vaxjo, Sweden native has appeared in 38 career NHL regular-season games, tallying three goals, nine assists for 12 points.
