The St. Louis Blues have signed defenceman Steven Santini to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced Saturday.
Santini, 25, spent the 2019-20 season with the Nashville Predators before being bought out of the remainder of his contract earlier this week.
The Bronxville, N.Y., native was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the second round in 2013 and was part of the trade that sent P.K. Subban to the Devils in June 2019.
Santini has appeared in 116 career NHL regular-season games with the Devils and Predators, posting five goals and 21 points along with 55 penalty minutes.
