The St. Louis Blues signed forward Sammy Blais to a one-year, $1 million contract extension, the team announced Thursday.
Blais, 26, was drafted by the Blues in the sixth round of the 2017 NHL Draft and spent his first four seasons in St. Louis before being traded to the New York Rangers in July 2021.
The Blues re-acquired Blais in the Vladimir Tarasenko deal last month.
Blais had no goals and five assists in 40 games with the Rangers this season and has two goals and one assists in three games with the Blues.
Blais has 19 goals and 28 assists for 47 points in 182 career NHL games.
