The St. Louis Blues have signed defenceman Hunter Skinner to a one-year, two-way contract worth an annual average value of $775,000 at the NHL level, the team announced Wednesday.
Skinner, 24, finished last season with 23 points in 71 regular-season games for the AHL's Springfield Thunderbirds. He also recorded 98 penalty minutes, the second-highest on the team.
The six-foot-two defenceman adds depth to a Blues team that ranked 11th in goals against in 2024-25.
Skinner was originally acquired in a trade package that sent Vladimir Tarasenko and Niko Mikkola to the New York Rangers in 2023.
