Mathieu Joseph's days in St. Louis may be done.
The Blues waived the forward for purposes of contract termination, the team announced on Thursday.
Joseph, who is due for free agency after the season, previously cleared waivers Friday and was subsequently assigned to the AHL.
He will be eligible to play in the post-season if he clears and signs elsewhere before Friday at 3 p.m. ET.
Joseph, 27, has appeared in 39 games for St. Louis this season, registering two goals and 11 points. He is in the final year of a $2.95 million deal and will be a free agent.
