The Boston Bruins and Colorado Avalanche are swapping AHL forwards.
The Bruins have acquired Ivan Ivan from the Avalanche in exchange for Fabian Lysell, the teams announced Saturday.
Ivan, 23, suited up for nine games with the Avalanche in the 2025-26 season, finishing with one assist while playing an average of 7:27 of ice time.
He added 11 goals and 15 assists in 66 AHL regular-season games, along with three goals and 12 assists in 17 Calder Cup playoff games.
Signed as an undrafted free agent ahead of the 2023-24 season, the six-foot centre has five goals and four assists in 49 career games at the NHL level.
Lysell, meanwhile, played the entire 2025-26 season with the Providence Bruins in the AHL. He finished with 17 points and 25 assists in 57 games.
Drafted 21st overall by the Bruins in 2021, the 23-year-old has made only 12 appearances in the NHL back in the 2024-25 season, and has tallied one goal and two assists.
