JJ Peterka is heading to Beantown.
The Boston Bruins acquired the 24-year-old forward in a trade with the Utah Mammoth on Friday.
Boston is sending the 23rd pick in Friday's draft and a 2028 first-round pick, via the Florida Panthers, to Utah to complete the trade. The 2028 first is top-10 protected.
Peterka played in all 82 games for Utah in 2025-26, recording 25 goals, 47 points and a plus-6 rating while averaging 15:59 of ice time per contest.
He was held off the scoresheet in Utah's six-game first-round loss to the Vegas Golden Knights in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The German winger spent the first four years of his career with the Buffalo Sabres before being traded to Utah last off-season in exchange for Josh Doan and Michael Kesselring.
A second-round pick of the Sabres in 2020, Peterka has 92 goals and 197 points in 320 career games.
