Bruins place Brad Marchand, Craig Smith in COVID-19 protocol

The Boston Bruins have placed forward Brad Marchand in the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol.

Earlier Tuesday, fellow Bruins forward Craig Smith also was placed in protocol.

According to NHL.com's Amalie Benjamin, Marchand took part in Tuesday's morning skate.

Marchand has 11 goals and 16 assists in 21 games this season.

Smith has two goals and five assists in 19 games this season.
