The Boston Bruins and Nashville Predators have swapped minor leaguers.
The Bruins acquired winger Navrin Mutter from the Nashville Predators in exchange for forwards Massimo Rizzo and Dalton Bancroft, the teams announced Thursday.
Teams are still permitted to make trades despite the deadline passing, but any player acquired cannot play in the NHL for the remainder of the regular season or post-season.
Mutter, 24, has one assist in 27 games in the AHL this season.
Rizzo, 24, appeared in 29 games in the ECHL this season before suiting up for one AHL game. He was acquired by the Bruins from Philadelphia ahead of the deadline on March 6.
Bancroft, 25, logged one goal and one assist in 34 AHL games this season.
