Jordan Harris is heading home.
The native of Haverhill, Mass. is signing with the Boston Bruins on a one-year, $820,000 deal, the team announced Tuesday.
Harris was not qualified by the Columbus Blue Jackets, making him a free agent. The Blue Jackets acquired him from the Montreal Canadiens last year in the Patrik Laine deal.
Harris had one goal and four assists in 33 games for the Blue Jackets last season.
The 24-year-old has nine goals and 28 assists in 164 career NHL games with the Blue Jackets and Habs.
