The Boston Bruins have signed forward Alex Steeves to a one-year deal for $850,000, the team announced Tuesday.
Steeves, 25, spent the majority of the 2024-25 season with the Toronto Marlies, recording 52 points (36 goals, 26 assists) through 59 AHL games.
The six-foot, 196-pound forward did make seven NHL appearances for the Maple Leafs last season as well, logging a goal and an assist while finishing a plus-three in that span.
Steeves joined the Maple Leafs as an undrafted player ahead of the 2021-22 season and has been with Toronto for the last four seasons. He's totalled three points through 14 games in that time.
