The Boston Bruins are adding some depth to their forward corps.
Right-winger Matej Blumel has signed a one-year, $875,000 deal with the Bruins, the team announced on Tuesday.
Blumel, 25, has spent the last three seasons with the Dallas Stars. In 13 NHL appearances over two seasons, he has two goals and no assists.
He made 67 appearances with the Texas Stars in the AHL last year, notching 39 goals and 33 assists. He added seven goals and nine assists through 14 post-season games in the AHL.
The Tabor, Czechia native was originally drafted by the Edmonton Oilers 100th overall in the fourth round of the 2019 NHL Draft.
