Fraser Minten will soon be making a mint in Boston.
Minten signed a seven-year contract extension through the 2033-34 season with an annual cap hit of $7.2 million, the Boston Bruins announced Tuesday.
In 82 games with the Bruins last season, Minten set career highs in goals (17), assists (18) and points (35). His 17 goals were tied for fifth on the team, while his 35 points were the most by a Bruins rookie since the 2017-18 season.
In 107 career NHL games, the Vancouver native has 20 goals and 20 assists for 40 points with a plus-16.
Minten was acquired by the Bruins in March 2025, along with a 2026 first-round draft pick and a 2025 fourth-round draft pick, from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for defenceman Brandon Carlo.
Minten was the Maple Leafs' second-round (38th overall) pick at the 2022 NHL draft.
