The Boston Bruins are adding a goalie.
Max Lundgren signed a one-year entry-level contract worth $952,500 with the team, it announced on Sunday.
The deal kicks in for next season.
Lundgren, 23, spent the past season with Merrimack College, posting a 21-16-2 record with a 2.55 goals‑against average and a .920 save percentage.
The six-foot-five, 230-pound Swede led the NCAA in saves with 1,134 and won MVP of the Hockey East championship in a Merrimack victory.
