Boston signed goalie Simon Zajicek to a one-year contract extension through next season, worth $850,000 at the NHL level.
Zajicek, 24, played 21 games for the AHL Providence Bruins with a 2.44 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage.
The Frydlant, Czechia, native was originally signed by Boston as a free agent in May 2025.
In 90 career games in the Czech league, Zajicek posted a 2.68 GAA and .912 save percentage.
