The Boston Bruins have extended one of their depth forwards.
Lukas Reichel has signed a one-year, $950,000 extension with the Bruins for the 2026-27 season, the team announced on Thursday.
The 23-year-old was acquired by the Bruins in March from the Vancouver Canucks. In 10 games with Boston, he had one goal and two assists. Between the Chicago Blackhawks, Canucks and Bruins, he had three goals and five assists for eight points in 29 games last season.
Reichel also appeared in 27 AHL games in 2025-26 between Abbotsford and Providence, tallying seven goals and 12 assists.
Reichel has played 198 career NHL games, recording 62 points (23 goals and 39 assists). He was originally drafted No. 17 overall by the Blackhawks in 2020.
