Boston Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask is "ready to go" for Wednesday's must-win Game 6 against the New York Islanders, according to head coach Bruce Cassidy.

Rask was pulled for the third period of Game 5, with the Islanders leading 4-2 at the time, due to injury concerns.

"There was some maintenance that needed to be done. He wasn’t 100 per cent," Cassidy said as per ESPN's Greg Wyshynski. "He wasn’t himself. He could have been back in. We made the decision not to put him back in."

In 10 appearances this post-season, Rask has a 6-3-0 record with a 2.20 goals-against average and a .925 save percentage.

The Bruins will look to stave off elimination in Game 6, forcing a decisive Game 7, Wednesday night on Sportsnet. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT.
