The St. Louis Blues are holding onto some blue-line depth.
Defenceman Calle Rosen has signed a two-year, two-way contract extension, the team announced on Thursday.
Rosen's deal will pay him $850,000 at the NHL level next season and $900,000 the season after.
The 32-year-old was re-acquired by St. Louis from the Washington Capitals in November.
He has 26 points (seven goals, 19 assists) in 47 games with the Blues' AHL affiliate on the season.
For his NHL career, Rosen has 31 points (11 goals, 20 assists) in 93 games with the Blues, Toronto Maple Leafs and Colorado Avalanche.
