It's selection time for the Canadian men's Olympic hockey team.
The Canadian Olympic Committee and Hockey Canada will unveil the team roster on Wednesday at noon ET / 9 a.m. PT. Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ will carry full coverage of the announcement on The FAN Hockey Show, while the entire press conference from Minnesota will be available on Sportsnet.ca.
Doug Armstrong, general manager of the men's team, is scheduled to speak at the media conference in Minnesota, where the national junior team is competing in the world junior championship.
Fans will be looking to see if the team, which previously named Sidney Crosby, Nathan MacKinnon, Connor McDavid, Sam Reinhart, Brayden Point and Cale Makar to its roster, also adds younger standouts Connor Bedard, Macklin Celebrini and Matthew Schaefer.
Canada's first game in Milan, Italy, is on Feb. 12 against Czechia.
It will mark the first time NHL players have been in the Olympics since 2014.
