Carey Price will be in the net when the Montreal Canadiens host the Florida Panthers in their season finale Friday night.

There was some concern Price would miss the game after he visited with his doctors in New York earlier this week. Price, 34, missed almost the entire season while recovering from off-season surgery.

Friday will be Price's fifth start of the season since he made his debut April 15.

"It's tough to tell, he will continue to get evaluated so it's tough to comment on that before we get all the information," said Canadiens interim coach Martin St. Louis earlier this week when asked about Price's status. "I'm happy that he was able to play but we'll see what the next few days will bring."

Friday's matchup will feature both the President's Trophy winner and the league's first No. 32 seed, which the Canadine locked up earlier this week. Montreal will hold the best odds to win the top pick entering the NHL Draft Lottery on May 10 and will host the NHL Draft in July.
