Montreal Canadiens forward Jake Evans left Tuesday night's game against the Florida Panthers after a heavy fall in the boards.
The Canadiens later announced that Evans had suffered an upper-body injury but was only listed as day-to-day.
The winger lost balance near Sergei Bobrovsky's net, slid and heavily hit the boards. Evans was able to skate off the ice alongside Canadiens' trainers.
Evans has picked up nine goals and 12 assists in 47 games for the Canadiens this season.
